– 2021 Model Year: Prefix J2D, serial number range 0000625 to 0000880.
– 2022 Model Year: Prefix J0D, serial number range 0513701 to 0514498; Prefix J0E, serial number range 0502001 to 0502134; Prefix J2D, serial number range 0000601 to 0000870; Prefix J5C, serial number range 0001010 to 0001400.
– 2023 Model Year: Prefix J0D, serial number range 0600116 to 0607700; Prefix J0E, serial number range 0600111 to 0601578; Prefix J2D, serial number range 0000621 to 0000900; Prefix J5C, serial number range 0100104 to 0101695.
– 2024 Model Year: Prefix J0D, serial number range 0700101 to 0706200; Prefix J0E, serial number range 601049 to 0701289; Prefix J2D, serial number range 200101 to 0200199; Prefix J5C, serial number range 200102 to 0201000.

The recalled golf car vehicles lack stop lights, posing a risk of serious injury or death, due to a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this hazard.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled golf car vehicles and contact an authorized Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule the free installation of two stoplights. For consumers who cannot take their recalled golf car to an authorized dealer, Yamaha will provide transportation or will install the stoplights at the location of the golf cart.

The official remedy is a repair. Yamaha will provide and install two stoplights free of charge. For consumers who cannot transport their vehicle to an authorized dealer, Yamaha will either provide transportation or perform the installation at the location of the golf cart.
