1. Recall Summary
The Kroger Co., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is conducting a voluntary recall of Halloween-themed Skeleton Wax Candles. The recall was announced on October 30, 2025. The recall is being initiated due to a fire hazard associated with the product. The distributor of the product is The Kroger Co., of Cincinnati, Ohio. The importer is Carole Accessories, Inc., of Los Angeles, California. The product was manufactured in China.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is a Halloween-themed Skeleton Wax Candle. The candle is white and is contained in a black plastic bowl. The product includes skeleton and pumpkin ornaments and a duck candle. The plastic container bears a misspelled warning label that reads: “WANING: PLASTIC CONTAINER AND ONAMENTS ARE FLAMMABLE”. Additional labeling on the container includes a red $7 price sticker and a warning label that reads “This product not intended for use by or accessible to children 12 years of age or younger. MADE IN CHINA” with model number D310800CN01. Approximately 3,680 units are affected by this recall. The products were sold at Kroger stores nationwide, including Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Smith’s and King Soopers from September 2025 to October 2025 for about $7.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the candle contains ornaments that are flammable, posing fire and burn hazards. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported in connection with this product.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the recalled candle. The official instruction from the recall notice is to return the product to any Kroger store for a full refund in the original form of payment.
