The recalled products are accessory heaters that are compatible with the following Honda side-by-side vehicle models:
– Model years 2023-2025 Honda Pioneer 700 (SXS700)
– Model years 2022-2024 Honda Pioneer 1000 (SXS1000)
– Model years 2022-2024 Honda Talon 1000 (SXS1000S)

The accessory heaters were sold separately from the vehicles. Affected vehicles have been fitted with the Honda accessory heater system, which includes a mounted control panel on the vehicle’s dash. This control panel has controls for air speed, air flow direction, and temperature. According to the recall notice, Honda has received three reports of the recalled accessory heaters overheating. Among these reports, two incidents resulted in fires and vehicle damage. No injuries have been reported in connection with this hazard.
