On May 15, 2025, KTM AG, of Austria, announced a recall of approximately 19,310 GASGAS and Husqvarna off-road motorcycles in the United States, and an additional 3,870 units in Canada. The recall involves model years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 off-road motorcycles. The recall number is 25283.
Affected Products
The recalled products are GASGAS and Husqvarna off-road motorcycles. GASGAS motorcycles are red with a white GASGAS logo on both sides of the shrouds. Husqvarna motorcycles are white, blue, and yellow with the Husqvarna logo on both sides of the shrouds.
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is located on the right side of the steering head. The 10th position of the VIN identifies the model year: 2022 models have the letter N, 2023 models have the letter P, 2024 models have the letter R, and 2025 models have the letter S. Model numbers and model names are located on the rear fender or rear side panel.

The motorcycles were sold at GASGAS and Husqvarna authorized dealers nationwide from January 2022 through August 2024 for between $10,000 and $13,000.
Hazard Information
The front brake caliper can crack, reducing the braking system’s effectiveness, posing a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported.
