Approximately 295 units were sold in the United States, with an additional nine units sold in Canada. The carabiners were manufactured in Taiwan. They were sold at First Ascent Climbing and Fitness Arlington, Vertical eXcape Climbing Center, and online at Hownot2.com, backcountry.com, outdoorprolink.com, and verticallstore.com from February 2025 through February 2026, with prices ranging from $23 to $60.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the carabiner’s gate can malfunction. Specifically, the gate may not close automatically and must be closed manually by hand.
