The recalled product is the Manhattan Toy Brilliant Bee Rattle. The model number “166700 CQ” is printed on the base of the toy. Approximately 3,000 units were sold in the United States. The products were sold at independent specialty toy stores nationwide and online at www.manhattantoy.com from May 2024 through June 2024. The retail price was about $16. The toys were manufactured in China.

Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the wooden base can detach from the wooden rod. When this occurs, the three plastic rings can be released. This poses a choking hazard to young children. No injuries or incidents have been reported as of the recall publication date.
