Blueroot Health, Inc., in coordination with manufacturer VitaQuest International, LLC, is recalling approximately 4,700 bottles of Bariatric Fusion brand iron multivitamins. The products were sold online at Amazon.com, bariatricfusion.com, and other websites from January 2025 through June 2025, with prices ranging between $23 and $57. The manufacturer is VitaQuest International, LLC of Caldwell, New Jersey. The distributor is Blueroot Health, Inc., of Middletown, Connecticut. The products were manufactured in the United States.

3. Hazard Information

The recalled multivitamins contain iron. Under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, products containing iron must be packaged in child-resistant containers. The recall notice states that the packaging of these iron-containing multivitamins violates the federal standard for child-resistant packaging because the bottle caps are not child-resistant.
