1. Recall Summary
On October 9, 2025, Bellabu Bear, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of its collection of bamboo sherpa children’s robes. The recall was initiated because the robes violate the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries had been reported. The recall involves approximately 1,300 units sold in the United States.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves Bellabu Bear brand children’s long-sleeved robes made from bamboo sherpa material. The robes feature sherpa lining, two front pockets, and a matching belt. They were sold in children’s sizes S/M and M/L. The brand name “Bellabu Bear,” the style number “BB-NW12109,” and the size are printed on the robe’s neck label.

The recalled robes were sold in the following prints: PAW Patrol, Garfield, Minecraft, Minions, Batman, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Trolls, Dora, Nutcracker, hearts, Santa, stripes, bows, and dragons.

The robes were sold at Saks Fifth Avenue stores and boutiques nationwide, as well as online at Bellabubear.com, Letthembelittleboutique.com, Saksfifthavenue.com, and other online retailers from January 2024 through July 2025 for approximately $60. The distributor is Bellabu Bear, of Costa Mesa, California. The robes were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled children’s robes violate the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. No injuries or incidents related to this hazard have been reported to the firm or to the CPSC as of the date of the recall notice.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled children’s robes. They should take the robes away from children and contact Bellabu Bear to receive a full refund or store credit for the original purchase price. Consumers will be provided with a prepaid shipping label to return the recalled robes.
