On November 6, 2025, a recall was announced for Y’all Can DIY liquid bioethanol fireplace fuel containers. The label includes the brand name and product name in white and orange, along with the phrases “No Soot,” “No Ash,” and “Clean Burning” printed on the front. Hazard warnings are printed on the side of the bottle. The product was sold in single packs and 3-packs. Approximately 14,000 units are affected. The product was manufactured in Turkey. Only products manufactured and sold after January 12, 2025, are included in this recall. The product was sold on Amazon from April 2025 through July 2025 for about $19 for single packs and about $31 for 3-packs.

3. Hazard Information
According to the recall notice, the recalled fuel containers violate the mandatory safety standards for portable fuel containers because they lack flame mitigation devices required under the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. The notice states that this poses a risk of flash fire. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled fireplace fuel immediately. Consumers should place the containers out of reach of children. To participate in the remedy, consumers must clearly mark the product container with “DO NOT USE” and include the Amazon order number. Consumers must then take a photo showing the entire product with the markings visible and email it to contact@astemrey.com for verification. Once Astemrey verifies the request for replacement, consumers should properly dispose of the original bottle and contents. The recall notice provides specific disposal instructions: Consumers should follow local household hazardous waste (HHW) guidance for flammable liquids. Consumers should contact their city, county, or state HHW program for instructions, as requirements may differ by location. Consumers should not place fuel in household trash.
