1. Recall Summary
This recall involves JJGoo-branded LED balloon lights. The recall was announced on February 19, 2026, by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recalled lights were sold online at Amazon.com from May 2025 through November 2025 for about $23. The distributor is Shenzhen Yimu Technology Co., Ltd. dba JJGoo, of China. The product was manufactured in China. Approximately 3,400 units are affected. No injuries have been reported.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the JJGoo LED Balloon Light. The lights are submersible and were sold in packs of 100 LED color-changing lights. Each individual light is multi-colored, blinks, and measures about 0.6 inches in diameter. Each light contains 200 preinstalled LR41 button cell batteries. The product packaging has a label on which “MY1005E-Colorfu1-100” is printed. The product was sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from May 2025 through November 2025 for approximately $23.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled LED balloon lights violate the mandatory federal safety standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. The hazard is that the button cell batteries contained within the lights can be accessed easily by children. This poses an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the LED lights do not have the warnings required by Reese’s Law. When button cell batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled LED lights. The lights should be placed in an area that children cannot access. Consumers must properly dispose of the batteries. The recall notice specifies that button cell and coin batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures. After removing and disposing of the batteries, consumers should throw the balloon lights away. Consumers must then send a photo of the product in the trash to the email address provided by the distributor.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund. To obtain the refund, consumers must contact JJGoo. The process requires consumers to dispose of the batteries according to local hazardous waste procedures, throw the balloon lights into the trash, and then send a photograph of the product in the trash to the distributor’s recall email address. Upon receipt of the photo, JJGoo will provide a full refund.
