1. Recall Summary
Sanven Technology Ltd., doing business as Vevor, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, is recalling Vevor-branded retractable baby gates. The recall was initiated because the gates violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. The recall notice was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on February 26, 2026. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves Vevor-branded retractable safety gates. The gates have a metal frame approximately 34.2 inches high and a retractable screen. The gates were sold in three colors: gray, black, and white. The product is available in three model numbers, which are distinguished by the maximum width of the retractable screen:
– Model YJ-3355: Screen extends up to 60 inches wide.
– Model YJ-3371: Screen extends up to 76.8 inches wide.
– Model YJ-33110: Screen extends up to 116 inches wide.

The brand name “Vevor” is printed on a label located on the corner post of the gate. The model number is printed on the product packaging and in the user manual. Approximately 10,400 units were sold in the United States. The gates were manufactured in China.

The recalled gates were sold online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, Vevor.com, Walmart.com, and Wayfair.com from December 2023 through December 2025. The retail price ranged from $32 to $53.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled gates violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. Specifically, a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor. This creates a risk of serious injury due to entrapment. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled gates. Consumers are instructed to destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh. After destroying the gate, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed gate to the company via email at recalling@vevor.com. After submitting the photo, consumers should contact Sanven Technology to arrange for a full refund.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund. Consumers who destroy the recalled gate and provide photographic proof of destruction will receive a full refund from Sanven Technology.
