1. Recall Summary
On February 16, 2022, In-Things Corporation, of White Plains, New York, initiated a recall of approximately 200 units of “SAACHI” branded “Sparkle Sheer Social Wrap” scarves. The recall was issued due to the scarves failing to meet federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, which poses a risk of burn injuries to consumers. The scarves were sold exclusively online at www.saksoff5th.com from November 2020 through September 2021 for about $40. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is a 100% sheer silk scarf sold under the “SAACHI” brand, identified as the “Sparkle Sheer Social Wrap.” The scarves are pink in color and measure approximately 75 inches long by about 27.5 inches wide. The brand name “SAACHI” is printed on the front of the side seam label. The back of the label states “100% silk, Dry Clean Only, Made in China.” No model numbers, UPC codes, or specific date codes are provided in the recall notice. The total number of affected units is about 200.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, as specified in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations. This failure creates a risk of burn injuries to consumers if the scarf comes into contact with an ignition source, such as an open flame or high heat. As of the recall date, no injuries or incidents have been reported to the firm or the CPSC.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers who have purchased the recalled scarves should immediately stop using them. The recall notice instructs consumers to contact In-Things Corporation to request a prepaid postage mailer.
