On October 5, 2023, International Intimates Inc., of New York, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 38,700 units of Rene Rofe Girl Children’s Blanket Sleepers and Hooded Robes. The recall was initiated due to the products failing to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard to children. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

The recall involves Rene Rofe Girl Children’s Blanket Sleepers and hooded robes. The garments are made of 100% polyester and were sold in sizes for children ages 6 to 14 years. The following identifying information is printed on the neck label of each garment:

The recalled products were sold online at Amazon.com, Fashionnova.com, and Ruelala.com, as well as at children’s clothing stores nationwide. The products were sold from November 2021 through January 2023 for approximately $15. The garments were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information

The recalled children’s blanket sleepers and robes fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries or incidents had been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required

Consumers are instructed to take the following actions immediately:
– Remove the recalled blanket sleepers and robes from children.
– Stop using the garments.
– Destroy the garments by cutting them in half.
– Send a photo of the destroyed recalled product to International Intimates Inc. via email at recall@renerofe.com.

Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.
