Recall Summary
This recall involves Yoocaa baby loungers, which were sold exclusively on Amazon.com. The recall was published on November 2, 2023, under CPSC Recall Number 24017. The products were manufactured in China and imported by He Nan Ji Bu Gong Yi Pin You Xian Gong Si, doing business as Yoocaa Direct. Approximately 4,140 units are affected. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Affected Products
The recalled products are baby loungers made of a cloth cover with a foam sleeping pad and padded bumper. They were advertised as “baby lounger” and “baby nest” and were sold in various printed fabrics and colors, including animal, blue star, cloud, feather, flower, forest, leaf, pink star, polar bear, and zoo. The word “SLEEPING SET” is printed on a tag sewn into the interior of the cover.

The recall applies to products purchased on or after June 23, 2022. Consumers should review their Amazon purchase history to determine their purchase date. For those who still have the packaging, a label on the packaging states the date of manufacture in the format “LOT: YYYYMMDD.” This recall applies to products with LOT markings of 20220623 (June 23, 2022) or later dates. The loungers were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from January 2021 through May 2023 for between $30 and $55.

Hazard Information
The recalled loungers fail to meet the safety requirements of the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule. According to the recall notice, this creates an unsafe sleeping environment for infants and poses a suffocation risk, as well as fall and entrapment hazards. The specific failures include: not having a stand; not meeting the requirements for side height and fabric-sided openings; the product’s sides being shorter than the minimum side height limit; the sleeping pad’s thickness exceeding the maximum limit; and the possibility that an infant could fall out of an enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby loungers. They should contact Yoocaa Direct for instructions on how to receive a full refund and properly dispose of the product. Yoocaa Direct and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.
