1. Recall Summary
On January 18, 2024, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Bokser Home, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced a recall of all sizes of Bokser Home 100% cotton mattress pads manufactured after October 2022. The recall was issued due to the products violating the mandatory federal flammability regulation for mattress pads, posing a fire hazard. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries had been reported. The recall number is 24085.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves all sizes of Bokser Home 100% cotton mattress pads manufactured after October 2022. The mattress pads feature a quilted box stitch pattern and have a 100% cotton shell and fill. The retailer’s name, manufacturer, and date of manufacture are printed on a label attached to the mattress pad. Approximately 2,300 units are affected by this recall.

The recalled mattress pads were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Belk, Macy’s, Target, Bokser Home Outlet, and Fernish B2B stores nationwide and online at BedBathandBeyond.com, BokserHome.com, and Bokserhomeoutlet.com from November 2022 through October 2023. The retail price range for the products was between $25 and $145.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled mattress pads violate the mandatory federal flammability regulation for mattress pads. This violation poses a fire hazard to consumers. No injuries or incidents related to this hazard had been reported at the time the recall notice was published.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled mattress pads immediately. Consumers are instructed to contact Bokser Home for a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers who purchased the mattress pads will be asked to destroy the product by cutting it with scissors. After destroying the product, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed mattress pad to Bokser Home at support@bokserhome.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers are required to destroy the recalled mattress pad by cutting it with scissors and then email a photo of the destroyed product to Bokser Home. Once the photo is received and verified, Bokser Home will issue a full refund of the purchase price to the consumer.
