Recall Information Record: Vanilla Underground Minecraft TNT Children’s Pajamas

1. Recall Summary
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Premier P. LTD, of the United Kingdom, announced a recall of Vanilla Underground “Minecraft TNT” One-Piece Pajamas on February 29, 2024. The recall was issued because the children’s pajamas fail to meet federal flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard to children. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The recall number is 24133.

2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the “Minecraft All Over Creeper TNT” garment, a hooded one-piece pajama. The pajama is made of a soft, raised fabric printed with green Creepers and TNTs from the Minecraft video game. It features bright green cuffs on the wrists and ankles, a bright green zipper extending from the neck to the waist, and a hood. The front of the neck label bears the word “Minecraft,” and the back of the label states “2023 Mojang AB. TM Microsoft Corporation.” The front of the side-seam label displays Vanilla Underground’s logo, “Vanilla Underground,” “vanillaunderground.com,” and Vanilla Underground’s address. The back of the side-seam label lists washing instructions, “Made in China,” “100% Polyester,” and “Keep away from fire.”

Approximately 1,570 units were sold. The pajamas were sold online on amazon.com and vanillaunderground.com from October 2022 through January 2024 for between $42 and $44. The product was manufactured in China and imported by Premier P. LTD, of the United Kingdom.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled children’s pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and stop using them. Consumers must destroy the garments by cutting them in half and disposing of them in accordance with local and state recycling laws. After destroying the garment, consumers should send a photo of the destroyed garment to customercare@vanillaunderground.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund of the purchase price. To receive the refund, consumers must follow the destruction and photo submission instructions provided in the Consumer Action Required section.
