1. Recall Summary
On April 24, 2025, a recall was announced for LuckupShein window roll up shades. The recall was issued because the products violate federal regulations for window coverings and present strangulation and entanglement hazards that can cause serious injury or death to children. The recall number is 25233. The products were sold exclusively on us.SHEIN.com from May 2023 through December 2024. Approximately 545 units are affected.
2. Affected Products
The recalled products are LuckupShein window roll up shades. The shades were sold in white, gray, and black. The sizes range between 20 and 44 inches wide and 72 inches high. The word “Desheng” is printed on the label on the top of the valance cover. No model numbers or UPCs are specified in the recall notice. The shades were manufactured in China. The distributor is LuckUpShein, of China.
3. Hazard Information
The recalled window shades have long operating cords. According to the recall notice, these cords can cause death or serious injury to children due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window shades are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard. The window shades also violate federal regulations for labeling of window coverings. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

After cutting the cord, consumers should contact LuckupShein to receive a free repair. Consumers will be asked to send a photo of the recalled product with the operating cord cut to luckupshein@163.com. Once the firm receives the picture of the product with the original cord cut, consumers will be sent a replacement operating cord wand device with installation instructions.
5. Official Remedy
The official remedy is a free repair. The repair consists of a replacement operating cord device. Consumers must first cut the existing operating cord and provide photographic proof of the cut cord to the firm. After verification, the firm will send a replacement operating cord wand device along with installation instructions. No refund or replacement of the entire shade is offered under this recall.
