The products were sold at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and at www.fireflyfuel.com from August 2019 through May 2025 for approximately $20. The manufacturer is Firefly Fuels Inc., located in Sarasota, Florida. The country of origin is the United States.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled Safe & Green 32 oz. fuel bottles contain hydrocarbons. Under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, products containing hydrocarbons must be sold in child-resistant packaging. The recalled product includes a nozzle applicator which is not child-resistant. When the applicator is used in place of the child-resistant closure, it poses a poisoning hazard to young children. Hydrocarbons can enter the lungs, leading to chemical pneumonia and pulmonary damage, which can be fatal. Furthermore, the product violates the Federal Hazardous Substances Act because it is incorrectly labeled as “Non-Toxic.” No injuries have been reported to date.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately take the following actions:
– Remove the nozzle applicator from the recalled Safe & Green 32 oz. fuel bottle.
