1. Recall Summary
This recall involves Scepter B62 gas and oil fuel containers. The product is a combination fuel container that is red with black caps and yellow spouts on each end. 2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Scepter Gas and Oil Combination Fuel Container. The number of units affected is approximately 1,500. The products were sold exclusively online through Amazon from December 2024 through August 2025 for about $36. The model number is not specified in the recall notice. The country of manufacture is Canada.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled fuel containers violate mandatory safety standards for portable fuel containers. Specifically, the containers lack flame mitigation devices required under the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. The recall notice states this poses a risk of flash fire. Additionally, the product violates the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act. The spout on the products is not child-resistant, which the recall notice states poses a risk of burn and poisoning to children. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fuel containers. Consumers must place the containers out of reach of children. Consumers are instructed to write the word “Recalled” on the container using a permanent marker. After marking the container, consumers must take a photograph of the container in the trash. The photograph must be submitted via email to info@canadaprepandship.com.
