On October 24, 2024, CFMOTO Powersports Inc., of Plymouth, Minnesota, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 2,650 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The recall involves 2024 CFORCE 800 Touring and 2024 CFORCE 1000 Touring models. The recall was initiated due to a throttle mechanism defect that poses a crash hazard. 3. Hazard Information

The hazard associated with this recall is a mechanical defect in the throttle system. Specifically, the throttle lever on the recalled ATVs can fail to return to the idle position when a driver releases it.
