1. Recall Summary

On March 13, 2025, a recall was announced for Gerolsteiner 750ml Sparkling Water bottles. The recall was initiated by the manufacturer, Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co. KG, of Germany. The recall notice states that the water bottles can crack, posing a laceration hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The recall involves approximately 61,500 bottles.

2. Affected Products

The recall involves Gerolsteiner 750ml Sparkling Water bottles. The product is sold in large 750ml glass bottles or in cases containing 15 bottles. The front of the bottle features a white, blue, and red label with the name “Gerolsteiner.” The lot number is located on the lower part of the label.

Affected bottles have one of the following two lot numbers:
– 11/28/2024 L
– 11/27/2024 L

The recalled bottles were sold at Trader Joe’s stores in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The product was sold from December 2024 through January 2025 for approximately $3 per bottle.

3. Hazard Information

According to the recall notice, the recalled water bottles can crack. This cracking creates a laceration hazard for consumers handling the bottle. The recall notice states that no injuries have been reported as of the date of the recall publication.

4. Consumer Action Required
