3. Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that the remote control for the Submersible RGB LED Light contains a lithium coin battery that can be easily accessed by children. This poses an ingestion hazard. The product violates mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. Additionally, the recalled products do not have the required warnings. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. No injuries have been reported as of the recall date.
