Recall Summary
On May 15, 2025, BuddyLove, of Dallas, Texas, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 940 units of children’s Mini Danica Loungewear Sets. The recall was initiated because the children’s two-piece pajama sets violate federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Affected Products
The recall involves children’s two-piece pajama sets sold in children’s sizes 3 to 12. Each set consists of a long-sleeved, button-up top and matching pants. The garments have detachable feathers on the wrist and ankle, two front shirt pockets, and buttons down the center seam of the shirt. The following style numbers are included in the recall:
– BK1105 (Sugar Berry)
– BK1106 (Tartan)
– BK1107 (Frostbite)
– BK1108 (Kris Kringle)
– BK1109 (Prowl)

The size and “BuddyLove” are printed on the neck label. The side seam label displays “100% Polyester” fiber content, washing instructions, the style number, and “Made in China.” The recalled products were sold at BuddyLove and other boutique clothing stores nationwide and online at https://Buddylove.com from October 2023 through July 2024 for approximately $95.

Hazard Information
The recalled children’s pajama sets violate flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard and risk of serious injuries or death to children. This violation is based on federal regulations for children’s sleepwear. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled pajamas immediately. Consumers must destroy the garments by cutting them in half. After destroying the garment, consumers should take a photo of the destroyed garment and email that photo to Recall@buddylove.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price. BuddyLove is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund of the original purchase price. Consumers who do not wish to receive a refund may instead receive a store credit for the original purchase price. The refund or store credit is issued after the consumer submits a photo of the destroyed garment to BuddyLove via email.
