Approximately 1,400 units were sold in the United States. The gates were sold on Amazon from December 2024 through April 2025 for a price between $55 and $75.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled gates violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. The specific hazard is that a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor. This condition poses a risk of serious injury or death due to entrapment. The recall notice states that no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled gates immediately. Consumers must destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh. After destroying the gate, consumers must take a photograph showing the destroyed gate. The photograph must be submitted to the email address support@livactihome.com.
