2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the IKEA 365+ VÄRDEFULL garlic press. The garlic press has a black rubber handle and a zinc-coated garlic chamber. Only models bearing the IKEA logo are subject to the recall. The logo is located on the upper part of the handle. The product was sold at IKEA stores nationwide and online at IKEA.com from March 2025 through May 2025 for about $8. Approximately 43,830 units were sold in the United States, and an additional 10,700 units were sold in Canada. The product was manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The hazard associated with this product is that small metal pieces can detach from the garlic press. This poses a laceration or ingestion hazard to consumers. IKEA has received a total of 10 incident reports globally, including three reports of lacerations and finger splinters. No incidents or injuries have been reported in the United States.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled garlic press. The product should be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. If a consumer is unable to return the product to an IKEA store, they should contact IKEA for instructions on how to dispose of the recalled product to receive a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required to receive a full refund.
