3. Hazard Information
The recalled toys violate the mandatory federal toy standard for toys containing button batteries. The battery compartment in the remote control can be accessed without the use of a common household tool. According to the recall notice, if button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns and death.
