Recall Summary
On September 18, 2025, Five Below Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 66,000 tabletop fire pits. The recall was initiated due to a risk of serious burn injury from flame jetting and fire hazards. The recall notice states that alcohol fuel can splash or leak out of the fire pit reservoir during use and/or ignition, causing a flash fire that can spread and create larger, hotter flames that can escape the unit. Five Below has received one report of flames escaping from a tabletop fire pit. No injuries have been reported.
Affected Products
The recall involves two models of tabletop fire pits sold under the Five Below brand. The first model has a smooth black base and is available in blue, yellow, and white box packaging. The front of the box displays “Tabletop Fire Pit” in white lettering. The back of the box bears UPC “1922343012788” and tracking number “FO031124”. The second model has a beveled gray base and is sold in green box packaging. The front of the box displays “Outdoor”, “Easy Modern”, and “Cement Tabletop Firepit”. The back of the box bears UPC “1922346316838” and tracking number “FO011925”. Both models include a stainless-steel fuel cup, a lid, and a flame cover. The products were sold at Five Below stores nationwide and online at fivebelow.com from April 2024 through August 2025 for between $2.50 and $5. The importer is 1616 Holdings Inc., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The distributor is Five Below Inc., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The products were manufactured in China.
Hazard Information
The hazard identified in the recall notice is that alcohol fuel can splash or leak out of the fire pit reservoir during use and/or ignition. This can cause a flash fire that may spread and create larger, hotter flames that can escape the unit. This condition presents a risk of serious burn injury from flame jetting and fire hazards. As of the recall date, Five Below has received one report of flames escaping from a tabletop fire pit. No injuries have been reported.
Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tabletop fire pits. Consumers are instructed to contact Five Below to receive a full refund. Consumers who return the fire pit to Five Below will receive a refund in the original form of payment, cash, or store credit. Alternatively, consumers can send a photo of the fire pit with their name and date written on the product in permanent marker to Recalls@FiveBelow.com and receive a refund in the form of a check or store credit. Consumers should dispose of the recalled fire pits. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required to receive a full refund.
Official Remedy
The official remedy is a full refund equal to the purchase price or $5. Consumers who return the fire pit will receive a refund in the original form of payment, cash, or store credit. Consumers who submit a photo as described will receive a refund in the form of a check or store credit. Disposal of the recalled fire pits is required.
