2. Affected Products
The recalled product is the Wilteexs Bioethanol Fuel Bottle. The bottles are clear, hold 1.06 quarts (1 liter), and come pre-filled with fuel. The front of the bottle features the text “WILTEEXS” and “BIO ETHANOL” printed in blue and white, along with an image of a burning flame. The identifier “X004IQ9ZCH” is printed below the barcode on the back of the bottles. No specific model number or type was provided in the recall notice.

3. Hazard Information
The ethanol fuel bottles violate the federal safety standard for portable fuel containers because they lack flame mitigation devices required by the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. This poses a risk of flash fire. Additionally, the fuel containers fail to meet the federal safety regulation for deceptive disclaimers required by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act because they claim the contents are “Non Toxic.” As of the recall date, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fuel bottles and place them out of reach of children. Consumers are instructed to write “Do not use” and their Amazon order number on the bottle using a permanent marker. A photo of the bottle showing this writing must be submitted to the email address provided by the importer. Consumers should dispose of the fuel bottles in accordance with local and state regulations.
