The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Shenzhen Shuanglong Home Furnishing Co., Ltd., of China, and online seller AOWO, announced a recall of AOWOS 12-drawer dressers on October 16, 2025. The recall was published under CPSC Recall Number 26024. The recall was initiated because the dressers violate the mandatory safety standard for clothing storage units as required by the STURDY Act. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves AOWOS 12-drawer dressers. The recalled dressers were sold in the following colors: black, brown, gray, oak, pink, and white. Each unit features a metal frame, a wooden top, 12 collapsing fabric drawers of varying sizes with handles, four side pockets, and two hooks. The dressers measure approximately 39 inches by 12 inches by 44.5 inches and weigh about 42 pounds. The model numbers printed on the product packaging are: 12DRW01, 12DRW02, 12DRW11, 12DRW13, 12DRW19, 12DRW20, or 12DRW27. Approximately 700 units were sold in the United States. The dressers were sold exclusively on Walmart.com from September 2023 through August 2025 for about $9. The manufacturer is Shenzhen Shuanglong Home Furnishing Co., Ltd., of China. The distributor is Hong Lu, of China, doing business as online seller AOWO.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall. This instability poses tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory standard required by the STURDY Act. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall. Consumers must place the dressers in an area that children cannot access. Consumers are instructed to contact AOWOS for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers. To receive a full refund, consumers must submit a photo to AOWOSRecall@outlook.com showing that the product has been disposed of.
