1. Recall Summary
On November 6, 2025, a recall was announced for Napei collapsible infant bath tubs. The recall involves approximately 7,800 units sold in the United States. The products were sold on Amazon by the Sefon Store from July 2025 through September 2025 for about $35. The bath tubs were manufactured in China and distributed by Sefon Store, of China.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are Napei collapsible infant bath tubs made of plastic with two detachable legs. The bath tubs were sold in a white/gray color combination. Each unit includes a removable star print cushion insert, a built-in thermometer, and a blue rubber star-shaped drain plug. The model number “Model No: Baby Bathtub – 0823” can be found on a label on the bottom of the bath tub. No other models, types, or UPCs are specified in the recall notice.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled infant bath tubs violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries. The built-in thermometer contains button cell batteries that can be accessed easily by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the infant bath tubs. Consumers should contact Sefon Store for instructions to receive a free replacement battery compartment. To initiate this process, consumers must provide their order number or a photo of the tracking label found on the bottom of the infant bath tub. Consumers should email Sefon Store at Napeiservice00@outlook.com. Upon confirmation of the order number or a photo of the tracking label, Sefon Store will provide a replacement battery compartment to be delivered to the consumer. The recall notice includes a note that button cell batteries are hazardous and that batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy offered for this recall is a repair. Specifically, consumers will receive a free replacement battery compartment for the built-in thermometer. No refund or replacement of the entire bath tub is offered under this recall.
