1. Recall Summary
Demlar LLC, doing business as Demlar Online Store, is recalling MoonSoll-branded ethanol and Magic Chems-branded bioethanol fuel bottles. The recall was initiated because the products violate the federal mandatory safety standard for portable fuel containers and the labeling requirements of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA). The recall notice was published on November 20, 2025. Approximately 18,200 units are affected.

2. Affected Products
The recalled products are clear fuel bottles with either a red or green cap. They are sold under two brand names: MoonSoll (ethanol) and Magic Chems (bioethanol). The bottles are available in 500mL and 1000mL capacities. They were sold individually or in packs of three. The brand name and capacity are printed on the front label of the bottle. The products were sold online at Amazon.com from May 2025 through July 2025, with prices ranging from $16 to $32. The manufacturer is STARKİM KİMYA SAN. T.C. A.Ş., of Turkey. The importer is Demlar LLC, owner of the MoonSoll and Magic Chems brands, based in Casper, Wyoming.

3. Hazard Information
The ethanol fuel bottles violate the federal safety standard for portable fuel containers because they lack flame mitigation devices required by the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act. This poses a risk of flash fire. Additionally, the fuel containers fail to meet the federal safety regulation for deceptive disclaimers required by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) because the labels claim the contents are “Non-Toxic.” As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fuel bottles. The bottles should be placed out of reach of children. Consumers must contact Demlar for a full refund. To initiate the refund process, consumers will be asked to write “Do not use” and their Amazon order number on the container using a permanent marker. A photo of the marked container must be submitted to info@demlar.com. After submitting the photo, consumers should dispose of the fuel bottles in accordance with local and state regulations. The recall notice specifies that consumers should follow local household hazardous waste (HHW) guidance for flammable liquids. Consumers are advised to contact their city, county, or state HHW program for disposal instructions, as requirements may differ by location. The recommended safe approach is to keep the product in its original container, clearly label it “Do Not Use,” and bring it to a local HHW drop-off.
