Recall Summary
This recall involves Bazic Silicone Glue, Model 2030. The product is a clear adhesive sealant sold in a transparent plastic bottle with a blue nozzle top and a blue and black wraparound label. The front of the label displays the words “Bazic,” “Silicone Glue,” and “Clear Adhesive Sealant.” Cautionary statements and the model number “2030” appear above the barcode on the side of the bottle. Only units bearing the batch code “V01233-031725-70004523” printed on the side of the bottle are included in this recall. The recall was announced on January 29, 2026, by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) under Recall Number 26234. The importer is Bangkit USA Inc, doing business as Bazic Products, of El Monte, California. The product was manufactured in China.

Affected Products
The recalled product is Bazic Silicone Glue, Model 2030, with batch code “V01233-031725-70004523.” Approximately 21,170 units were sold. The glue was sold at Shims Bargain Inc., Henry Lamond Co. Ltd., Universal Wholesale, and D’notions & crafts stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com. The product was sold from May 2025 through October 2025 for about $3. The UPC for the recalled product is 764608020302.

Hazard Information
The glue contains methanol. Under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, products containing methanol must be sold in child-resistant packaging. The recalled glue’s packaging is not child-resistant. This poses a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children. Additionally, the glue violates labeling requirements under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) because it is incorrectly labeled as “Non-Toxic” and because it lacks a “highly flammable” hazard statement. As of the recall date, no injuries have been reported.

Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled Bazic Silicone Glue immediately. They should contact Bazic Products for instructions on how to submit a photo of the product to receive a full refund. The recalled glue should be disposed of in accordance with local and state regulations. Consumers are advised to contact their local hazardous waste treatment center for proper disposal. Do not dispose of methanol in sewers, rainwater pipes, or ordinary garbage cans to avoid causing fires or environmental pollution.
