2. Affected Products

The recalled products are Vevor-branded retractable baby gates. The gates have a metal frame approximately 34.2 inches high and feature a retractable screen. The gates were sold in three colors: gray, black, and white. The recalled models and their maximum extended widths are as follows:
– Model YJ-3355: extends up to 60 inches wide.
– Model YJ-3371: extends up to 76.8 inches wide.
– Model YJ-33110: extends up to 116 inches wide.

The brand name “Vevor” is printed on a label located on the corner post of the gate. The model number is printed on the product packaging and in the user manual. The gates were sold online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, Vevor.com, Walmart.com, and Wayfair.com from December 2023 through December 2025. The retail price ranged from $32 to $53. The products were manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information

The recalled gates violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. Specifically, a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor. This condition poses a risk of serious injury due to entrapment. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported.

4. Consumer Action Required

Consumers are instructed to stop using the recalled gates immediately. Consumers should then contact Sanven Technology to receive a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers are required to destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh. After destroying the gate, consumers must send a photo of the destroyed gate to the email address recalling@vevor.com.

The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers who follow the instructions to destroy the gate and provide photographic proof will receive a full refund from Sanven Technology.
