The recall notice states that the recalled gates violate the mandatory federal safety standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. Approximately 10,400 units are included in this recall. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves Vevor-branded safety gates. The recalled gates have a metal frame approximately 34.2 inches high and a retractable screen. The gates were sold in gray, black, and white. The retractable screen extends to a maximum width depending on the model:
– Model YJ-3355: extends up to 60 inches wide.
– Model YJ-3371: extends up to 76.8 inches wide.
– Model YJ-33110: extends up to 116 inches wide.

The brand name “Vevor” is printed on a label located on the corner post of the gate. The model number is printed on the product packaging and in the user manual. The gates were sold online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, Vevor.com, Walmart.com, and Wayfair.com from December 2023 through December 2025. The retail price was between $32 and $53. The product was manufactured in China.

3. Hazard Information
The recalled gates violate the mandatory standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. According to the recall notice, a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor. This condition poses a risk of serious injury due to entrapment. No injuries have been reported to the firm or to the CPSC as of the date of the recall notice.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled gates immediately. Consumers are instructed to destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh.
