On April 9, 2026, Vitaquest International LLC of West Caldwell, New Jersey, initiated a recall of multiple iron-containing dietary supplements. The recall involves Arey, Bari Life, Bird&Be, Biote, Dr. Fuhrman, NuLife, HMR, Bariatric Pal, Noevir, Zenbean and Sakara brand products. The supplements were sold without child-resistant packaging, which violates the mandatory standard under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. Approximately 356,140 units are affected by this recall. No injuries have been reported.

– Bari Life: Complete Bariatric Vitamin – Watermelon (60-count) with lot numbers 0138G5, 0177D3, 0207A4, 0333K4 and expiration dates from April 2026 to July 2028.
– Bird&Be: The Prenatal Essentials for Females (30 packets), The Power Prenatal for Females (30 packets), The Power Prenatal for Females + CoQ10 Boost (30 packets), Female Fertility Power Prenatal Pack (30 packets), Complete Prenatal Pack (30 packets), Female Fertility Power Prenatal + CoQ10 Pack (30 packets) with various lot numbers and expiration dates from August 2026 to May 2027.
– Biote: Nutraceutical Iron+ (30-count) with lot numbers 0068F5, 0516K4 and expiration dates January 2027 and May 2027.
– Dr. Fuhrman: Gentle Prenatal Multivitamin + D3 (120-count) with lot number 0091A5 and expiration February 2027; Pixie Vites Children’s Multivitamin (120-count) with lot number 0130K4 and expiration December 2026.
– NuLife: Advanced Bariatrics Multivitamin Chewable Tablets (60-count) with multiple lot numbers and expiration dates from June 2026 to October 2027.
– HMR: Multi Daily Vitamin and Mineral Supplement (60-count) with lot number 0013H5 and expiration July 2027.
– Bariatric Pal: Ultra Multi Bariatric Multivitamin (90-count) with lot number 0148I4 and expiration September 2026.
– Noevir: Inner Care Premium BioEssentials (120-count) with lot number 0134F4 and expiration July 2026.

The products were sold at Credo Beauty, Erewhon, Healf, Nutrition World, The Vitamin Shoppe, Fullscript, Ulta Beauty stores nationwide, medical practitioners’ offices, brands’ websites and Amazon.com from April 2023 through February 2026 for between $13 and $130 depending on brand and size.
Hazard Information
The dietary supplements contain iron, which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The packaging of the supplements is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.
Consumer Action Required
Consumers should immediately store the supplements out of sight and reach of children. Consumers should contact Vitaquest International for information on how to obtain a free child-resistant replacement cap or storage pouch.
