1. Recall Summary
This recall involves the Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom and White Noise electrical fan. The product provides a combination of white noise and air circulation. The fan is white with a beige stand and is equipped with a temperature-sensing Auto-Fan Mode and smart features accessible via a companion app. The recalled fans have a removable barrel power jack and a serial number on the underside of the fan’s wooden base that begins with BZ10 or BZ02. The recall was announced on April 9, 2026. The importer is Snooz, Inc., of Las Vegas, Nevada. The product was manufactured in China.
2. Affected Products
– Product Name: Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine
– Units Affected: Approximately 11,900 units in the United States. In addition, about 140 units were sold in Canada.
– Serial Numbers: Serial numbers beginning with BZ10 or BZ02 are included in this recall. The serial number is located on the underside of the fan’s wooden base.
– Excluded Products: Breez 2nd Generation sound machines are not affected by this recall.
– Sale Period and Locations: Sold online at Amazon, Shopify, Kickstarter, and other small retailers from June 2023 through December 2025 for approximately $200.
3. Hazard Information
The power connector inside the fan can corrode and cause the fan to overheat, posing a risk of fire. The firm reported six cases of the fans overheating and smoking, with one report of fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the recalled fan immediately. To determine whether a product is affected, consumers should locate the serial number on the underside of the fan’s wooden base. Serial numbers beginning with BZ10 or BZ02 are included in this recall. Consumers will be asked to cut the power cord and upload a photo of the cut power cord and a photo of the adapter showing the model number and all printed information.
