1. Recall Summary
HappyGira, doing business as Caw Group Inc., of Beaverton, Oregon, is recalling Sweetie Baby-branded and Style Life Eleven-branded baby loungers. The recall was initiated because the products violate the mandatory federal safety standard for infant sleep products. The recall notice was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on April 23, 2026. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
2. Affected Products
This recall involves Sweetie Baby-branded and Style Life Eleven-branded baby loungers. The recalled loungers are constructed of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover. They were sold in multiple styles and colors. The Style Life Eleven rectangular loungers zip up into a bag with the brand name stitched on it. The Sweetie Baby oval loungers have the brand name printed on a tag attached to the side of the lounger. Approximately 70 units were sold in the United States. The products were manufactured in China. The loungers were sold online at HappyGira.com from September 2025 through February 2026 for between $70 and $100.
3. Hazard Information
The baby loungers violate the mandatory federal standard for infant sleep products. Specifically, the sides of the loungers are shorter than the minimum side height limit required to secure an infant, and the loungers do not have a stand. These conditions pose a fall hazard. Additionally, an infant can fall out of the enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped. Furthermore, the sleeping pad’s thickness exceeds the maximum limit allowed by the standard, posing a suffocation hazard. These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the baby loungers immediately. Consumers are instructed to contact HappyGira for a full refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers will be asked to destroy the loungers. The destruction process requires removing the sleeping pad and bumper covers, cutting the bumpers, sleeping pad, and the covers in half. Consumers must then send a photo of the destroyed pieces to support@happygira.com. After sending the photo, consumers should dispose of the destroyed product.
5. Official Remedy
The official remedy for this recall is a full refund. Consumers who follow the destruction and photo submission instructions will receive a full refund from HappyGira.
