1. Recall Summary
On April 16, 2026, a recall was announced for SpringFlower-branded 5-in-1 Montessori Toy Sets. The recall was issued due to a choking hazard associated with the airplane-shaped teething toy included in the set. The toys also violate the teething toy provision of the mandatory federal standard for children’s toys. The recall notice was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) under Recall Number 26427. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

2. Affected Products
The recall involves SpringFlower 5-in-1 Montessori Toy Sets, model number SFTODD05IN1. The model number is printed on the bottom of the product packaging. The set includes six stacking blocks, six stacking rings, five sensory balls, a shape sorting bin with four shapes, and an airplane-shaped pull string toy with six colored tentacles. Approximately 21,900 units were sold. The toys were manufactured in China and distributed by Shantou Ai Xing Trading Co., Ltd., doing business as SpringFlower, of China. The toys were sold online at Amazon.com from October 2023 through November 2025 for about $30.

3. Hazard Information
The Montessori toy sets contain an airplane-shaped teething toy that has tentacle ends. These tentacle ends can pose a choking hazard to young children. Additionally, the toys violate the teething toy provision of the mandatory standard for children’s toys. No injuries have been reported as of the date of the recall notice.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers should stop using the Montessori toy sets immediately and take them away from children. Consumers must then contact SpringFlower for a free replacement part or a refund. As part of the remedy process, consumers will be asked to cut off all the tentacles from the airplane-shaped teething toy, write the date and the customer’s initials in permanent marker on its base, and submit photos of the destroyed and marked airplane-shaped toy to the website springflower.com.cn/product-recall. After submitting the photos, consumers can dispose of the airplane-shaped toy.

5. Official Remedy
The official remedy options are a refund or a free replacement part. To receive either remedy, consumers must follow the steps outlined in the Consumer Action Required section: cut off all tentacles from the airplane-shaped teething toy, mark the base with the date and initials, submit photos to the recall website, and then dispose of the toy. After completing these steps, consumers will be eligible for a refund or a replacement part from SpringFlower.
