Recall Summary

On November 6, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published Recall Number 26077 for Neaude-branded adult portable bed rails. The recall involves model BR0221SL001, sold by Neaude on Amazon. The product violates the mandatory federal standard for adult portable bed rails, posing an entrapment and asphyxiation hazard. No injuries have been reported as of the recall date.

Affected Products

The recalled product is the Neaude Adult Portable Bed Rail, model BR0221SL001. Two color variations were sold: a silver top rail with silver support columns and blue accents, and a faux wood top rail with silver support columns in a wave design with white accents. Both versions feature a red handle button used to fold or unfold the rail. The bed rails measure approximately 37 inches wide and 14 inches high.

Approximately 3,294 units were sold in the United States. The recalled bed rails were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from August 2023 through March 2025 at a retail price between $55 and $65. The product was manufactured in China and distributed by Ruiyewenhuachuanboshenzhenyouxiangongsi, doing business as Neaude, of China.

Hazard Information

According to the recall notice, the recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. When attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, creating a risk of serious injury or death from asphyxiation. Additionally, the bed rails do not have the required warning labels that are mandated by federal safety regulations. No incidents or injuries have been reported to CPSC or Neaude at the time of the recall.

Consumer Action Required

Consumers who purchased the recalled Neaude adult portable bed rails should immediately stop using them. The recall notice instructs consumers to take the following steps:

1. Write the word “RECALLED” on both the upper and lower rails of the bed rail using a permanent marker.
2. Write the phrase “Bought on or after August 21, 2023” on a piece of paper.
3. Take a photograph that shows both the marked bed rails and the paper with the purchase date statement.
4. Email the photograph to Neaude at ruiye1234@outlook.com.
5. After receiving confirmation from Neaude, dispose of the recalled product in accordance with state and local waste disposal procedures.

Official Remedy

The official remedy offered by Neaude is a full refund. Consumers who complete the photo documentation and email process as described above will receive a refund for the recalled bed rails.
