Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc., of Towson, Maryland, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a recall of approximately 44,400 units of CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Tillers/Cultivators. The recall was published on May 30, 2024. The recall is due to a laceration hazard associated with incorrect assembly instructions. The firm has received one report of incorrect attachment of the bottom portion of the unit. No injuries have been reported.

When the bottom portion is attached upside down, the tines rotate toward the user during operation, posing a laceration hazard.
