2. Affected Products

These identifiers are printed on a label located on the back of the chair. The high chairs feature a plastic seat frame, metal legs, a tray, a cushioned seat insert, and a footrest. The product is designed to convert into a toddler arm chair, baby dining chair, and baby rocking chair. The recalled units were sold in three color options: green, pink, and gray. No other models or batch numbers are included in this recall.

3. Hazard Information
According to the recall notice, the high chairs pose a risk of serious injury or death to children due to two specific hazards. First, the high chairs violate the mandatory federal safety standard for high chairs because they were sold without the required attached restraint system. This absence creates a serious risk of falls for children seated in the chair. Second, the design of the product creates an opening between the seat and the tray in which a child’s head can become trapped, posing an entrapment hazard. As of the date of the recall notice, no injuries have been reported in connection with these products.

4. Consumer Action Required
Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the recalled high chairs. To initiate the remedy process, consumers must contact Harppa via email at recall@harppababy.com and provide their order number, order date, or a photo of the tracking label located on the seatback. Upon verification of the recalled product, Harppa will arrange for a replacement high chair to be delivered to the consumer. As a mandatory step before receiving the replacement, consumers are required to destroy the recalled high chair. The destruction process involves disassembling the high chair, cutting the restraints and the seat cover, and then emailing photos of the disassembled and destroyed parts to Harppa. Consumers must provide proof that the recalled product has been destroyed.
